How to use Rust map size calculator?

Rust's procedural map is defined by server.worldsize (1000 to 6000) and server.seed (0 to 2147483647). The larger the map, the more disk and memory it uses. This tool computes the area and an indicative population.

  1. Enter the map size (server.worldsize) and the seed.

  2. Enter the slot count and the player density you want.

  3. Read the area, indicative population and suggested size; fix any range warnings.

  4. Copy the +server.worldsize / +server.seed / +server.maxplayers arguments into your launch line.
