Game Rank Tools apps

Keep your tools one click away: a Windows app and an app you install straight from Chrome, both free and updated automatically.

Apps are offered for Windows and Chrome only. On other systems and browsers, simply use the website.

Windows app

A real desktop app: its own window, a taskbar icon and the same content as the website, always up to date.

  • Automatic background updates
  • Google, Discord or Steam sign-in through your browser
  • Your data stays on your computer
Download for Windows

Windows 10 / 11 · 64-bit · one-click install

  • Automatic updates: always the latest version of the site
  • Dedicated window, desktop and Start menu icon
  • Fast loading and an offline fallback page

Chrome or Edge on Windows · no store, no fee

Button greyed out? Install from Chrome:

  1. Open games-tools.game-rank.com in Chrome.
  2. Click the install icon at the right of the address bar, or open the ⋮ menu then “Cast, save and share” → “Install Game Rank Tools…”.
  3. Confirm with “Install”: the app opens in its own window and stays in your Start menu.

Always up to date, hands-free

The Windows app checks for updates at startup and every four hours, downloads them in the background and installs them on exit. The Chrome app shows the latest version of the site directly: nothing to update. Tools and their documentation are therefore up to date as soon as they are published.

Install the Windows app

  1. Download Game-Rank-Tools-Setup.exe with the button above.

  2. Run the file: installation takes a few seconds and needs no administrator rights.

  3. Open “Game Rank Tools” from the Start menu; later updates are automatic.

Windows SmartScreen warning?

Until the installer has built enough reputation with Microsoft, Windows may show “Windows protected your PC”. Click “More info” then “Run anyway”. You can inspect the app's source code on GitHub.

Privacy

The apps add no tracking: they show the same website under the same privacy rules. The Chrome app only caches the site's static files to load faster; your data stays in your browser.
