Each game server listens on specific ports, over TCP and/or UDP. If one is blocked by the firewall, the router or the host's firewall, players can't connect or the server doesn't show in the browser. This tool gives the defaults and checks your list.
How to use the tool
Pick your game in the list.
Note the required ports (including protocol) and the parameter that changes them.
Paste your opened ports (one rule per line, or the output of ufw status) to see what is missing.
Generate the rules with the “Firewall rules” tool, then also open the ports at your host and on your router.
Data reliability
The “Documented” badge marks ports read on 2026-10-09 from a documentation page or wiki (link shown). The “Common usage” badge marks values widely relayed by hosting guides whose official page could not be consulted: confirm them in the publisher's documentation and in your configuration file, since ports can change between versions. Never expose RCON to the Internet without an IP restriction.
Frequently asked questions
- Does the tool test my server online?
- No. It compares your rule list with the default ports, without any connection. To test for real, use “ss -lntup” on the server and a test from another connection.
- My port differs from the table, what now?
- The table lists defaults. If you changed the port (parameter shown), open yours; remember derived ports (port + 1, etc.) for games that use them.
