Documentation: Launch script generator

Generate your No One Survived server start script: SteamCMD update, launch arguments and automatic restart. Nothing is sent: everything is generated in your browser.

Last updated: 10/9/2026

Open the tool

A No One Survived server is installed with SteamCMD (app 2329680) and started with NoOneSurvivedServerStart.exe plus arguments. This tool builds a ready-to-use script: update, start and restart after exit.

How to use the tool

  1. Enter the install folder and the SteamCMD path.

  2. Fill in the server name, ports, player count and options.

  3. Copy or download the script, then run it (right-click > Run as administrator on Windows, or chmod +x on Linux).

  4. Open the server ports in the firewall and on your router, then test the connection.

Good to know

No launch argument is documented: the script just updates (app 2329680, anonymous login) then starts NoOneSurvivedServerStart.exe. The server is designed for Windows (Visual C++ Redistributable x64 required); configuration is in WRSH\Saved\Config\WindowsServer\Game.ini.

Frequently asked questions

Should I update on every start?
Recommended: client and server must run the same version, and a SteamCMD update with nothing new is quick. Untick the option to disable it.
Are my settings sent anywhere?
No. Everything is generated in your browser and only a local copy (localStorage) remembers your values; you can view and erase it on the Data page.
