Open the tool

In Arma Reforger each Workshop mod is identified by a 16-character hexadecimal GUID (modId) listed in game.mods of config.json. This tool keeps the list tidy, flags duplicates and invalid GUIDs and exports a paste-ready array.

How to use the tool

  1. Copy the mod's GUID from its Workshop page (reforger.armaplatform.com/workshop) and paste it into “GUID”.

  2. Add a name and version if you want to pin a version; otherwise the latest is used.

  3. Put dependencies before the mods that need them using the arrows, and turn off “required” for an optional mod.

  4. Fix the warnings (duplicates, invalid GUID) shown above the preview.

  5. Copy the JSON into game.mods of your config.json (or use the config.json generator) then restart the server.

Mod entry format

Each entry has modId (required), name (comment only, no effect), version (optional, otherwise the latest) and required (false: the server starts even if the mod fails to download).

Frequently asked questions

Are dependencies downloaded automatically?
This is not confirmed here: check the mod's Workshop page. To be safe, list dependencies explicitly before the mod that uses them.
Where do I find a mod's GUID?
On the mod's page in the Arma Reforger Workshop (reforger.armaplatform.com/workshop) or the in-game Workshop; it is a 16-character hexadecimal string.
