How to use Lua linter (GLua)?

GLua is Garry's Mod's Lua, with syntax extensions (//, /* */, !=, &&, ||, continue). This tool locally checks that blocks, brackets and strings are balanced, to catch a mistake before it floods the server console.

  1. Paste your script into the text area (it stays in your browser).

  2. Read the list of errors and warnings with their line number.

  3. Fix them, then recheck until it reports no issue.

  4. Then test on a development server: only the server truly validates the logic.
