How to use DarkRP configurator?

DarkRP is tuned with GM.Config.<setting> = value lines in the darkrpmodification addon folder. This tool outputs that file from a form; each default comes from config.lua in the FPtje/DarkRP repository.

  1. Install DarkRP and the darkrpmodification addon folder on your server.

  2. Edit the Economy, Player, Law, Chat and Limits groups; only the values you want matter.

  3. Download settings.lua and put it in garrysmod/addons/darkrpmodification/lua/darkrp_config/.

  4. Restart the server (or change map) and check the console: no Lua error should appear.
