A RedM server is configured with a server.cfg file, like FiveM, with one key difference: the line "set gamename rdr3" tells FXServer to run Red Dead Redemption 2. This tool generates the file from a form and saves it in your browser only.
How to use the tool
Get a free license key from the Cfx.re portal (portal.cfx.re) and paste it into "sv_licenseKey".
Fill in the name, port (30120 by default), slot count and OneSync mode.
List your resources (one per line) and the administrators' identifiers to generate the ACE rules.
Copy or download the file and place it in your server-data folder as server.cfg.
Start the server from server-data with "+exec server.cfg" and open port 30120 for TCP and UDP.
RedM values to know
According to the official FXServer documentation, "gamename" accepts gta5 (FiveM) or rdr3 (RedM). For RedM, the server commands page lists a single build for sv_enforceGameBuild: 1491. Leave the field empty if you do not need to force a build. OneSync accepts on, off or legacy (legacy is not recommended); from 32 slots you need OneSync on or legacy, above 64 only on.
set gamename rdr3
endpoint_add_tcp "0.0.0.0:30120"
endpoint_add_udp "0.0.0.0:30120"
sv_licenseKey "changeme"

- Why does my RedM server start as GTA V?
- The "set gamename rdr3" line is missing or placed after resources load. The tool puts it on the first line; also check that you start the server with "+exec server.cfg".
- Which port should I open for a RedM server?
- Port 30120 for both TCP and UDP (the one in the endpoint_add_tcp and endpoint_add_udp lines). If you change the port in the tool, open the same one in your firewall.
