How to use TF2 launch command?

A Team Fortress 2 server starts with srcds_run -console -game tf followed by parameters (+map, +maxplayers, +sv_pure, +sv_setsteamaccount). The official TF wiki gives the example “+map ctf_2fort +sv_pure 1 +maxplayers 24”. This tool assembles the full line.

  1. Choose Linux or Windows, the start map (e.g. ctf_2fort) and the slot count.

  2. Set sv_pure (1 in the official example) and the port if needed (27015 by default).

  3. Paste your GSLT token, created at steamcommunity.com/dev/managegameservers: it is required to appear in the server browser.

  4. Download the script, put it next to srcds_run, make it executable (chmod +x) and run it; on Windows, rename it to .bat.
