Documentation: WARDOGS community server checklist

Interactive checklist to prepare a WARDOGS server. The studio (Bulkhead) has announced community servers, but the distribution model (downloadable files or partner hosts) could not be confirmed: the tool covers following the official announcement, settings, passwords, testing and updates. Progress is saved locally.

Open the tool

According to host pages (unofficial sources), Bulkhead announced community servers for WARDOGS alongside official ones, but self-hosting, the server platform and admin tools were still to be announced; one host claims, without proof, that no files will be distributed via SteamCMD. This checklist stays valid in every case.

How to use the tool

  1. Check Bulkhead's official announcements (Steam, Discord): has the community server model been clarified?

  2. Pick the route (host or studio files) then follow the list's steps.

  3. Test the connection from outside before opening to the public.

  4. Copy the checklist to share it with your team.

What is not confirmed

At the time of writing, no official source consulted said whether the server would be downloadable, which platform it would run on or which ports it would use. No app ID, port or command is therefore given: check Bulkhead's announcements.

Frequently asked questions

Can I self-host WARDOGS?
Not confirmed: the studio announced community servers without specifying (in our sources) whether they will be self-hosted or rented. Follow its announcements.
Are host offers reliable?
They are commercial pages, sometimes written before launch: check the real status, specs and terms with the host before paying.
