serverconfig.txt configures your Terraria server. This tool builds a valid file from a form, with live preview, copy, download and sensible starting values.
How to use the tool
Fill in the form fields (starting values are already sensible).
Check the live preview next to or below the form.
Click Download (or Copy) to get serverconfig.txt.
Stop the server, back up the old file, put the new one in <server-dir>/, then restart.
Good to know
Starting values come from official documentation or cross-checked sources; they may change with any game update. Re-check the generated file after a major update.
Always stop the server before editing its files (some games rewrite them on shutdown) and keep a copy of the old file.
Lines starting with # are ignored. autocreate: 1 small, 2 medium, 3 large; difficulty: 0 classic, 1 expert, 2 master, 3 journey; maxplayers: 1 to 255. Port 7777 is the default.
