A Soulmask server is started with command-line parameters. This tool builds a readable launch script (StartServer.sh / StartServer.bat), one parameter per line, ready to save.
How to use the tool
Pick your system (Linux or Windows), then enter name, ports and player count.
Replace the example passwords with long, unique ones.
Download StartServer.sh / StartServer.bat and put it in <server-dir>/.
On Linux make it executable (chmod +x) and run it; on Windows double-click it.
Good to know
Starting values come from official documentation or cross-checked sources; they may change with any game update. Re-check the generated file after a major update.
Always stop the server before editing its files (some games rewrite them on shutdown) and keep a copy of the old file.
Parameters (-SteamServerName, -MaxPlayers, -PSW, -adminpsw, -Port 8777, -QueryPort 27015, -EchoPort 18888, -saving 600, -backup 900) come from cross-checked host guides; the developer does not publish a full reference. Compare the binary (WSServer.sh on Linux, WSServer.exe on Windows) with the StartServer script shipped with the server.
