Open the tool

Funcom offers self-hosting for Dune: Awakening (experimental, PC only, no extra fee). The procedure is technical: this checklist follows the official page's steps so nothing is missed. No config file is generated here: the official settings go through the UserSettings files and the battlegroup spec.

How to use the tool

  1. Tick each step as you go; progress is kept in the browser.

  2. Prepare the machine: virtualization, Windows Pro with Hyper-V, memory.

  3. Generate the token, install the Steam tool and run initial-setup.

  4. Open the ports, then check the official page and the Dune: Awakening Discord for questions.

What is officially known

Source: Funcom's official “Self Hosted Servers” page. The process is experimental and may change: always check the official page before acting. This tool invents no game settings.

Can I host on Linux?
The official page only describes a Windows Pro machine with Hyper-V; no Linux method is documented there.
Are my ticked boxes sent anywhere?
No, they are saved only in your browser's local storage (visible and erasable on the Data page).
