A Discord webhook posts messages to a channel with a simple HTTP POST containing JSON. This tool builds that JSON (with embeds) visually and gives you the matching curl command. The site never sends anything to Discord: you run the request yourself.
How to use the tool
In Discord: Channel settings → Integrations → Webhooks → New Webhook, then copy the webhook URL (keep it secret).
Fill in the content, username and the first embed: title, description, color, fields.
Watch the preview and the limit warnings (6000 characters total, 25 fields, 10 embeds).
Copy the JSON, or the curl command after replacing WEBHOOK_ID/WEBHOOK_TOKEN with those from your URL, then run it from your machine or server.
Limits and privacy
Discord limits: content 2000 characters; up to 10 embeds per message; title 256; description 4096; 25 fields (name 256, value 1024); footer 2048; author name 256; 6000 characters combined across all embeds. Images are not loaded in the preview (no network request to third-party domains). The webhook URL is never requested: don't paste it on third-party sites, anyone holding it can post in your channel.
curl -X POST "https://discord.com/api/webhooks/WEBHOOK_ID/WEBHOOK_TOKEN" \
-H "Content-Type: application/json" \
-d '{"content":"Hello","embeds":[{"title":"Server status","color":5793266}]}'Frequently asked questions
- Can the site send the message for me?
- No, by design: the tool has no access to your webhook URL and doesn't contact Discord. Use the curl command or the JSON in your own script.
- How is the embed color set?
- Discord expects a decimal integer (0xRRGGBB converted to base 10). The color picker handles it: #5865F2 becomes 5793266.
