Legal framework

This page details the cookies and local storage used by the site, in line with the ePrivacy rules and the GDPR.

Strictly necessary (no consent required)

• gt_consent (cookie, 180 days): remembers your consent choice.
• gt:* (localStorage): saves your tools (files, settings), the assistant history, recent searches (gt:search) and the snooze of the app-install invitation (gt:promo). This data stays on your device, is never transmitted and can be erased from “My local data”.
• __Host-gt_session (cookie, 30 days, HttpOnly): sign-in session, only if you sign in. Strictly necessary authentication cookie.
• gt_oauth (cookie, 10 minutes, HttpOnly): secures the round trip with the sign-in provider (Google, Discord, Steam); removed when sign-in ends.
• Service worker and browser cache (installable app): static files of the site (scripts, images, offline page) cached to load faster; no personal data is stored in it. gt:app:locale (localStorage): last language used, to reopen the installed app in the right language.
• No language cookie: the language is determined by the URL.

Subject to your consent

• AI assistant — Puter.js (third-party service, js.puter.com): loaded only if you accept. Puter may set its own cookies / storage (login, session) and processes your messages; see its privacy policy.

What we do not use

No advertising cookies, no tracking pixels, no analytics, no external fonts.

Change your choice

You can change your mind at any time, as easily as you consented, via the “Manage cookies” link in the footer. Withdrawal fully applies after reloading the page.
